Responsibilties

Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Work closely with FlyteVu internal teams to execute and coordinate key marketing programs
  • Work closely with team to track and monitor program metrics/analytics and generate appropriate reporting
  • Actively participate in team brainstorm and strategy sessions, engage in independent research as needed or assigned
  • Coordinate external and internal meetings
  • Manage and organize projects, timelines, deliverables as needed through FlyteVu systems and software
  • General office tasks as assigned
  • Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
  • Must be able to effectively communicate internally and/or externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values

Account Director

*This job will be based in Austin, TX.*

Under supervision of Agency Partners, this full-time role will be responsible for the performance and success of assigned accounts team. The Account Director will aid in client acquisition, establish campaign strategy, maintain revenue goals & ensure proper client management. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize campaigns strategically, lead effectively and strengthen client relationships by ensuring overall campaign success.

Responsibilties

Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Cultivate and maintain key relationships with FlyteVu accounts, agency partners, 3rd parties, vendors, media outlets and other partners as needed to execute campaigns and create new opportunities for clients/ prospects
  • Ability to work and oversee multiple accounts
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of client’s business to anticipate marketing and advertising challenges and opportunities
  • Supervise, lead and support the accounts team with best practices and sound recommendations
  • Ensure proper training & reviews for accounts team
  • Must be able to effectively communicate internally and externally in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and core values
  • Manage Phase 1 new campaign creation: strategy, brief, budget, campaign guidelines, timeline, talent contracts and metrics spreadsheet
  • Lead and assist in all client presentations
  • Oversee, review and analyze all client-facing deliverables
  • Provide monthly billing reconciliation, reporting and invoicing to partners
  • Proactively manage client expectations and deliver exemplary customer service
  • Meet or exceed the client’s expectation of knowledge and professionalism
  • Escalate any issues that impact successful execution of the work before the client is negatively affected
  • Develop, manage and review contracts for vendors, talent, etc
  • Promote & enforce agency process and agency values
  • Participate in networking activities in an effort to gain new business and new partners
  • Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information
  • Assist with on-site activation and fulfillment of client programs, which require that employee:
  • Must be able to travel without restriction
  • Must be physically able to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and load/unload, setup and teardown, etc. o Must pass a background check
  • Must be able and willing to work during non-business hours as needed or required to fulfill job requirements

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Competencies/Skills:

  • 8+ years agency marketing experience in account management or brand management role
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain budgets and campaign timelines
  • Experience managing a team
  • Must have problem-solving mentality
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks with varying deadlines
  • Must be open to travel
  • Work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with ability to work with ambiguity at times
  • Ability to think ahead, independently and challenge oneself to learn and grow
  • Must lead-by-example and foster supportive environment for agency
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Apple Keynote

Additional Preferences/Not Required:

  • Entertainment or music experience
  • Event management experience
  • Experience with Basecamp or other Project Management Software
  • Experience with time tracking software
  • Experience with file management software

Education Required:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
